We will discuss the importance of perennials and how to incorporate more into your yard - no matter what size.

This class will teach students all they need to get started canning safely. We will discuss equipment, safety, and recipes. Students will have hands-on experience with each step and will leave with a jar of pickled vegetables.
The class discusses multiple types of food preservation including canning, dehydration, freezing, and pickling.

      All About Herbs!
Join me as we explore growing herbs everywhere from pots to landscapes. We will talk about which herbs may serve you and your space and best practices to keep them looking great all year long. From there, we will dive into harvesting tips, drying and preserving techniques, as well as recipes to get the most benefit from the herbs. We will discuss culinary and home remedy uses.
This class will offer hands-on opportunities including harvesting and recipe making. All attendees will take home an herb of their choice to add to their garden space.
