A little about Brandon, I See Fungi:

I’ve been working with mushrooms for over seven years. It started when I changed my diet and began learning about their benefits and how they grow.

I taught myself how to cultivate mushrooms and gained hands-on experience working on farms. I’ve also helped set up growing operations in the Caribbean. I often forage wild mushrooms and use their genetics to develop new strains for cultivation.

Today, I focus on helping others grow mushrooms at home, understand their properties, and use them as part of a healthy lifestyle. I offer wellness products, one-on-one consulting, and educational support for all skill levels.

A little about Laura, Front Yard Foods:

I founded Front Yard Foods in 2022 and have been helping clients develop uniquely designed gardens and edible landscapes since. My passion for food first sprouted when I built my first garden with my grandfather at the age of 12. After graduation from Furman, I spent time doing graduate work in Tuscany, Italy where I learned what it really meant to eat locally and seasonally.

That passion for food led me work in a variety of local restaurants and then eventually to manage a local garden center. This experience, as both a gardener and restaurateur, has made it my mission to teach people how to grow their own food, as well as, how to get it on their table.

Through Front Yard Foods, I hope to inspire others to find their own connection to the earth and its value.
