Canning and Preserving Basics

Friday, July 14th 4pm-6pm

This class will teach students all they need to get started canning safely.  We will discuss equipment, safety, and recipes.  Students will have hands-on experience with each step and will leave with a jar of pickled vegetables.

The class discusses multiple types of food preservation including canning, dehydration, freezing, and pickling.
