Understanding Soil Needs, Amendments, and Preparing Beds

In this class (the 2nd in the Fall Veggie Course) we will explore the difference between soil & dirt, discussing composting (what to know and how to start), understanding soil amendments and how to properly choose and use fertilizers, compost, and worm castings. You will learn how to select and source proper soil for your raised beds and in-ground garden spaces and how to amend those beds for transition between crops and seasons.
